ISSUE #1

Hark! On monday, June 17, Runn Korad officially returned to his hometown of Beaverton, Oregon after his freshman year of college in Chicago. He was accompanied on the plane home by his mother Annie, who visited to help him move out of his college dorm. Sitting next to him was an old conspiracy theorist "wake up sheeple" "tinfoil hat" flat earther man who entertained Runn for the flight with his absurd conspiracy theories. Runn spent a majority of the flight writing in his notebook calculating things related to Earth's curvature, in an attempt to disprove the man's position of flat earth theory. But given the fact that Runn isn't a math or science expert, it proved difficult. Runn also wrote poetry on the plane which he was proud of, which will be featured as today's poetry of the day.

He was picked up by his father Tommy, and his 16 year old sister Rin, and on the ride home the family caught up with him. On the way home Rin had to stop by at ceramicafe to pick up her ceramics project, and Runn accompanied her into the place, wondering if he would run into his friend Eliana whom he knew worked there. To his surprise, Runn actually did run into Eliana at the ceramicafe, to which she said "I haven't seen you in so long![...] How was Chicago?"

Runn asked if Eliana had met his sister, and she stated that she had not. Eliana stated that earlier she saw Rin's ceramics piece on the shelf, and noticed that it had the last name "Korad," causing her to wonder if the owner of the project was related to her dear friend. Eliana then said "We need to hang out, send me a text," as the two have not had much time together in a while, even on the breaks where Runn was home from college. It had been about 10 months since the two hung out consistently.

On the following day; Tuesday, Runn spent the day with his best friend Jay. The two drove around aimlessly and ate McDonalds and Starbucks, feeling guilty for not boycotting due to the current war in Gaza. However Runn had not eaten McDonalds or Starbucks in about 10 months, so he liked to believe he was less guilty. Jay also drove Runn to a shutterbug so he could drop off a roll of film to be developed. Runn also watched the film Civil War (2024) with his father that night, both having loved it. Runn had seen the movie in theateres prior, but his father had not.

The next day was uneventful, and Runn felt somewhat depressed. On Thursday, Runn woke up depressed, and to combat it, drank coffee after taking his anti-depressants and ADHD medication. It had a calming effect, and Runn felt motivated to reread his Kurt Cobain biography book as research for a potential fanmade screenplay about the rockstar. Plans have been made for Runn to hang out with his friend Marielle, Gianni, and as well as to burn a CD for his friend Eliana at the house of his former classmate Iris. At said location, Iris's partner Eclipse, who has served as Runn's unofficial therapist at times, will sell Runn some minifigures.

POEM OF THE DAY: "This Face"

wait... this face... i KNOW this one. all the others i couldn't recognize, but this one... i know this person.

this is someone who was very important to me. i think... i think i was in love with them.

yes... i was in love with this person. how could i forget? how could i forget...
